While not impressive by today's standards, it certainly isn't an ugly game to look at.Īs for the gameplay, this game does a good job giving you a feel for its three protagonists, but the controls feel a bit stiff and awkward. This is thanks largely to the colorful presentation and decent lighting effects, as well as the fact that this version of the game uses Trine 2's much-improved graphics engine.

Time has aged the first Trine game some, but it still looks good by today's standards.

Trine: Enchanted Edition is the port of the first title in the Puzzle-Platformer series, originally released for PC over 10 years ago, with the central focus being using the unique abilities of the three interchangeable protagonists to get past puzzles and enemies. It is also included in Trine Ultimate Collection, along with Trine 2: Complete Story, Trine 3: Artifacts of Power, and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince.
